Company Profile The Removal Team and sister company The Storage Team owned by Kevin Thompson, first opened the van doors in January 2001. Since then, The Removal Team has become one of Liverpool's most reputed Removals & Storage companies. Merseyside's only member of the National Guild of Removers & Storers, we have consistently won their bi-yearly awards in relation to our customer service. Over 98% of our customers, in response to Quality Questionnaires given at the end of a relocation, rate our service as being either very good or excellent. A fresh and young approach with a strong focus on our customers' requirements, our emphasis is on providing an excellent value for money service. We have carried out thousands of house moves so far since the start of our time in business. These range from one-bedroom flat relocations within the Liverpool vicinity, to five-bedroom detached houses to the Highlands with a complete packing and unpacking service. We have built up a strong customer base and find that a high percentage of our work is based upon recommendation. Due to the scale of our Domestic work, we are constantly travelling up and down the country with regular weekly loads going to and from the London area, the South and Scotland. This allows us to carry out part loads to these areas thus making our prices very reasonable to our customers (see our Part Load page). With regards to our Commercial contracts, previous work undertaken includes the complete relocation (six floors) of Concourse House, Lime Street in Dec 04. We are an approved contractor for the Merseyside Police Force serving the whole of the county's Police stations and associated administrative buildings. All of our staff have been criminally vetted and meet strict guidelines and regulations. We are also actively used by Liverpool Community College. We were responsible in May 01 for the emptying of the Languages College, Myrtle Street, which was previously home to Liverpool's Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital. We have since relocated two further colleges in early 2006. We have also recently acquired a large tender for Liverpool City Council which entails completing all relocations for their entire administrative buildings across the city. In January 2007, our sister company, The Storage Team, was set up to provide the people of Merseyside with quality secure storage space. The Storage Team currently supplies over 30,000 sq ft of storage space.
